Today we presented the first concert in our new small halls’ collaboration series with Highland North Network (HNN). HARMONY IN THE HIGHLANDS is a series of 6 amazing concerts throughout isolated communities of northern Lanark Highlands Township. We are very happy to be a part of what this innovative resource hub is doing. A volunteer-driven group that is creating and fostering social connections for residents aged 55 and older in the communities of northernLanark Highlands Township. As HNN focuses on social health and helping people live longer, happier and healthier lives, Harmony Concerts is proud to be part of breaking the isolation chain with great music.
Our first concert presentation featured the amazing Hadrian’s Wall and was thoroughly enjoyed by all. A great way to kick off 2025, a SOLDOUT event. It was presented in the Middleville Community Hall, right in the middle of northern Lanark Highlands Township. Hadrian’s Wall members are from Glengarry County and deliver an amazing blend of Irish, Scottish and Canadian music. Today they brought the Irish vibes to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. Thank you to Neil Emberg (guitar and vocals), Ashely MacLeod-McRae (fiddle/vocals) and Ewen McIntosh (mandolin/vocals) for raising the spirits of all in attendance.
