The Globe and Mail said, “If you love the band Chicago, you will love Chicago Transit.” After last night’s walk down memory lane, our audience are all believers and so are we!
We presented Chicago Transit last evening, April 5th, at First Unitarian Congregation of Ottawa. The 8-piece band is celebrating their 30th anniversary this year and it is clearly reflected in their performance.
Chicago Transit gave us a steady performance for close to 2 hours with a long list of the band Chicago’s most popular hits. The audience swayed to songs like Make Me Smile, Saturday in the Park, If You Leave Me Now, 25 or 6 to 4, Does Anybody Really Know What Time It is, Hard To Say I’m Sorry, Colour My World and Hard Habit To Break.
Members of the band last night:
Carlo Di Battista: lead vocals, trumpet and band lead
We loved see audience members dance, clap and sing along to every song. What a great night!
